Mr. Tomas Regalado, Mayor of the City of Miami and Ms. Mikki Canton, attorney at law, also the Senior Public Policy Advisor to the Mayor for Economic Development, International Alliances and Intergovernmental Affairs arrived in Taiwan on May 27th 2011. During their stay in Taiwan, Mayor Regalado and members of his delegation called on Mayor of the New Taipei City Dr. Eric Chu as well as Mayor of Kaohsiung City Madam Chu Chen and other high-level government officials.

With the assistance of the IAWJ liaisons, President Mei-Yue Huang of the Taiwan Chapter of the IAWJ hosted a dinner party on June 4th for Mikki Canton, Esq. so that the members of the Taiwan chapter could exchange ideas and experiences with her on several common concerning topics for female legal professionals. Mikki Canton, Esq. is a well-known community leader in Miami city and enthusiastically assist in preparation of 2012 NAWJ annual conference which will be held in Miami from November 7~11, 2012. She heartily invites members of the Taiwan Chapter to attend that Conference.
